"Food and Wine Lover Weekend"
... featuring a Friday nights Welcome Reception with Spanish Wines and a Tapas Dinner, Saturday Night with Red Wine and a Romantic Winter Dinner with an emphasis on Chocolate in each course and for Sunday night, a dinner with white wine and Southwestern cuisine.
Southwestern cuisine, encompassing a blend of Spanish, Mexican, Native American and Southwestern United States ingredients, is served either in our romantic and historic hacienda dining room, secluded outdoor courtyard or under the stars at a cookout.
note: Rancho De La Osa does not have a public restaurant. However,
we do take requests for special event luncheons and historical tours
for groups of 8 or more guests. Please contact us at

Our Chefs work each season to create interesting new dishes and menus.
To name a few favorite entrees: Grilled Shrimp on polenta with coriander or barbeque hollandaise sauce, pork tenderloin with raspberry chipotle sauce or perhaps you would enjoy the Flat Iron steak with Chimichurrie sauce. Most requested dessert recipes of this past season: Chocolate croissant bread pudding with vanilla bean sauce, espresso crème brulee and pumpkin cheesecake with a gingersnap cookie crust.
Breakfast each morning includes a fresh fruit course, entrée and pastry served with juice and Seattle’s Best Coffee, or, if you’re a tea drinker, Tazo is the brand of choice.
Lunch entrees change daily and feature such items as homemade soups, entrée salads, crab or chicken enchiladas (made fresh on the ranch) and many more fun entrees. Weather permitting, our lunch cookouts are not to miss! Lunch always brings a fresh baked dessert, homemade ice cream/sorbet or the ranch favorite, a triple chocolate dove bar.
Dinner is served at 7 p.m.
Dinner starts with a creative salad on a diverse variety of fresh greens, followed by an entrée, fresh vegetable and side. Then, a moment of suspense arrives before the dessert of the night arrives.
