With more than 320 days of sunshine a year and night-time stars that shine with unmatched clarity within a coal black sky, Rancho De La Osa is a special place that rejuvenates the spirit and invigorates the soul.
Location
At Rancho De La Osa daytime activities include horseback trail rides, guided hikes, nature walks, road biking and bird watching. And, after spending time in the saddle and exploring on foot, you can relax in the hot tub, cool down in the pool or have a massage before enjoying a pre dinner drink in the cantina. Dining is focused around quality food and wine. Southwestern cuisine, encompassing a blend of Spanish, Mexican, Native American and Southwestern United States ingredients, is served either in our romantic and historic hacienda dining room, secluded outdoor courtyard or under the stars at a cookout.
Accommodations Our 18 adobe guest rooms are uniquely and vibrantly furnished with Mexican antiques and vintage furniture. Each has a porch that opens to mountain views and most rooms have a wood burning fireplace.
Testimonials "I celebrated my birthday at the ranch and it was phenomenal - from the food to the service to the horseback riding - everything exceeded my expectations. I was with six friends and family members, and we all felt that it was a wonderfully unique place with an extremely friendly and competent staff. The horses are great (well trained, but with spirit) and I would recommend it for any level of rider." Lisa Frankel, Miami “When reaching the gate we realized we had found an oasis in the desert. Our stay has been spectacular ever since. The privacy and special treatment we’ve had has only made our stay more perfect. Your ranch is so beautiful … Now the staff, how lucky you are to have such pleasant and loyal people working for you … Again, I would like to convey just how wonderful you all are and we will not forget a minute of it. What a great second honeymoon adventure.” Alice and Jim McCluskey, Ohio “I have come to Rancho De La Osa during three different seasons and whether traveling alone, with friends, or with my children I have found each experience to be incredibly unique and worthwhile … The historic hacienda and guest rooms have been artfully refurbished to create an atmosphere of striking beauty and warmth; the meals are top-notch and the overall hospitality always leaves me feeling as if I have been among old friends.” Jennifer Burke, California.
